Job Title: Business Development Director (Greater Des Moines, IA Area)
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to join our team, focusing on the Greater Des Moines area. As an integral part of our organization, you will be tasked with identifying and cultivating potential business opportunities, building strong relationships, and gaining a deep understanding of our clients' critical business strategies. Collaborating with a team of subject matter experts, you will craft and implement tailored solutions to help our clients achieve their business objectives.
Your mission will be to translate inspiration into tangible results for our clients. You will excel in attracting, engaging, and retaining employees, orchestrating effective sales contests and incentives, designing dynamic customer loyalty programs, and orchestrating impactful corporate events.
Qualifications:
Remote role, but must be based in the specified market
Minimum of seven years of direct B2B sales experience, with a focus on Fortune 1000 companies (no more than three jobs in the past ten years)
Proven track record of new business development, preferably in marketing solutions or professional business services (human resource solutions preferred)
Demonstrated success in prospecting and growing revenue within large accounts
Experience in high-volume sales (sales exceeding $250k per transaction)
Proficiency in managing sales cycles of varying lengths (three to twelve months)
Compensation structure includes highly leveraged commissions and bonuses
Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; familiarity with web, SaaS, and mobile applications is a plus
Compensation:
Base Salary: $135K (non-negotiable), plus commissions
First-year expected OTE: Up to $200K
Second year and beyond: Higher OTE expected, up to $300K+
