**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Capture Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our Contracting Division, taking charge of implementing, maintaining, and managing our CRM tool. Your daily tasks will involve reaching out to targeted agencies, analyzing government opportunities, assisting in creating presentation materials, and supporting various strategic initiatives. If you have a knack for relationship building, data analysis, and strategic planning, we want to hear from you.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct research on agencies and locations with a history of direct awards.
- Identify potential partnering opportunities with larger companies operating in relevant locations.
- Prepare for industry conferences by researching attendee lists and scheduling meetings.
- Manage CRM data during and after conferences.
- Identify market niches suitable for 8(a) growth.
- Engage with current and potential clients, develop pitch materials, and explore new business avenues.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships.
- Maintain a conference attendance calendar and coordinate logistics.
- Manage conference materials and promotional items.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient writing and editorial skills.
- Proven success in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with workflow platforms like SharePoint is desirable.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., GovWin, Bidspeed, Zoho) preferred.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.


**Physical Demands:**
- Flexible mobility with reasonable accommodation.
- Comfortable with prolonged sitting or standing.
- Ability to engage with computer screens, emails, and phone calls.
- Capable of lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
**Work Environment:**
- Hybrid work arrangement available (potential for full-time remote).
- Majority of work conducted in a climate-controlled environment.
- Expected travel requirement: approximately 25%, averaging one trip per month for conferences.
