Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Domtar is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to join our team in San Francisco, California. As an Entry Level position, this role is perfect for someone with at least 1 year of experience looking to jumpstart their career in business development. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and passionate about growing our business, with strong teamwork and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients- Create and deliver sales presentations to key stakeholders- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for business growth- Assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts- Track and report on sales performance metrics- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors- Support the Business Development Manager in all aspects of the sales process

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field- 1 year of experience in sales or business development- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite- Adaptable and passionate about achieving business goals- Soft skills in teamwork and decision-making
