About the Business Analyst: As a Business Analyst, you drive business efficiencies thru developing and executing system and regression test plans and cases, and establishing quality assurance policies in accordance with best practices, as well as, being a business partner to identify and lead the implementation of systems that meet business requirements. You will be responsible for partnering with clients to complete all phases of a project including defining the project, gathering requirements, designing or acquiring a solution and completing systems implementation. You will also be responsible for recommending and managing software testing programs, documenting test results, and reviewing the results with the involved functional and technical groups. Additional Duties Include: Ensure delivered solutions are of high quality with little to no post production deployment issue through the management of quality assurance processes Establishment of quality assurance / quality control policies and practices that are in accordance with best practices. Assist in development of test case scenarios and test plans for business and technology Lead business and technology testing efforts which include but not limited to: Developer unit testing End to End system integration testing System and Business process regression testing Coordinate testing across multiple functional areas on varying applications and platforms. Log, track, and manage defects to closure. Provide level two support by working with the business, external vendors, and IT Help Desk to resolve production issues for applications within your area of ownership Gather and analyze data to discover problems and propose corrective action. Evaluate vendor software patches and assess impacts and benefits. Support data transmission and communication requirements to internal and external vendors. Be available for nights and weekend support calls to resolve critical production issues Provide end user production support. Coordinate and provide support for systems implemented. Manages business unit 's prioritization of projects and tasks, communicates delivery schedules, milestones, leading driving project, blocking issues and obtains shared resources as needed to deliver on business requirements. Gathers business requirements and transfers them into meaningful technical requirements Coordinate and support the integration of Coborn 's existing applications and third party applications Implementation of best practices including configuration, documentation, testing, training, installation, and conversion of existing data. Create functional specifications for proposed solutions. This may include system configuration specifications and reporting specifications. Analysis-develops detailed functional specifications for modifications, defect corrections, enhancements and user documentation; performs process and data modeling. Document data requirements and selection rules for interfaces and conversions. Performs analysis on process flows and will help identify opportunities to implement or enable technology to streamline operations. Assist with development and delivery of end user training.
