Maximus is looking for a Business Analyst with QA and testing experience to join our team. This is a remote position.

What you will be doing: Work directly with business stakeholders to discover and document business, process, and functional requirements on system design driven initiatives Document detailed requirements to enable the technical delivery of committed functionality, ensuring requirements are decomposed from epics into actionable stories and tasks for the Agile development teams to deliver against Define and document user personas, use cases and key business objectives Work with key Stakeholders (eg. Product Owners and SMEs, Solution Architects, UI/UX Designers, Full Stack Engineers, QA team, etc.) to ensure the solution meets all requirements, acceptance criteria, and the definition of done Assist with the creation of process flows and architecture diagrams (ie: wireframes, process maps) Conduct testing to include functional, regression, and assist/guide user acceptance testing Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint review, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives in collaboration with Program Manager
Position Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Three (3) years of experience focusing on business architecture analysis and UX/UI Design Minimum of one (1) year experience in building business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for a production system Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem solving and analysis skills, self-motivated, and exceptional organization skills Ability to analyze organizational data and processes, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement strategies to attain performance targets Proven experience translating business requirements into user stories, use cases, and technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and test cases Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories Experience conducting backlog refinement sessions with stakeholders to gather pertinent information Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
