Responsibilities
• Prepare ingredients according to SOP's• Maintain clean and organized work area• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines• Communicate effectively with chef and cook team• Execute demands efficiently in high volume• Execute monthly food inventory• Assist with accountability and upholding standards• Coach and train teammates• Provide positive recognition• Assist during service when needed
Requirements
• Advanced understanding of ingredients, equipment, and cooking methods• Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately• Basic culinary math knowledge• Strong organizational and time management skills• Advanced knife skills• At least 1 year of prep cook experience• Able to stand for long periods of time• Able to lift up to 50 pounds• Able to handle repetitive motion tasks
