Building Inspector

The Staff Pad is seeking a Building Inspector for a construction company in Houston, Texas. As a Building Inspector, you will determine the structural soundness of buildings and construction projects. You will be tasked with inspecting and assessing the structural quality of a building and ensuring compliance with national building codes, and engineer specifications.

· Responsibilities: Review building plans Perform building inspections to ensure buildings match the plan and meet code requirements Input reports, with appropriate photos and detailed notes Check reports for accuracy prior to submission and ensure all reports submitted daily Maintain a positive working environment with co-workers Provide excellent customer service to builders and engineers Obtain Residential Combo Inspector license, if does not previously have Maintain licenses and CEU's Maintain company vehicle per the company handbook (if applicable) Adhere to all policies and procedures of company
