Broaching Machine Operator

Rassey Industries, a premier machining supplier in the automotive industry, is seeking a Broaching Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining broaching machines to produce precision components for our Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers. You will be working in a modern, state-of-the-art facility in Shelby Twp, Michigan, utilizing your skills to help us maintain our reputation as a leader in the industry. Responsibilities Set-up and operate broaching machines according to specifications Verify component accuracy using measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them running at optimal levels Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and targets Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent At least 1 year of experience operating broaching machines in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Hours from 5:30pm - 4am Benefits Paid Holidays, Vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
