Summary : Howmet Structure Systems has an immediate opening for a Briquetter Utility Operator located at our Canton Ingot facility. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining blend systems used to prepare material for use in high productivity melting furnaces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities of a briquetter operator.

Load and unload material and product by use of conveyor systems and hoppers. Inspect the condition of the product through daily scale standardizations to ensure quality. Interpret and control hydraulic press conditions to ensure the product is consistent with customer specifications and meets all quality standards. Operate hydraulic presses and equipment such as tow motors and hoists. Conduct preventive and general maintenance on hydraulic press system, hoppers, scales, conveyors and mixers. Troubleshoot equipment and system abnormalities and perform required maintenance to fix the issues. Adhere to all standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with all safety and quality processes. Perform daily cleaning and 5's responsibilities. Immediately Hiring!
