We're seeking a skilled Bridge / Structures Estimator to join our team and contribute to our diverse portfolio of construction projects. Position Summary: The Bridge / Structures Estimator will play a pivotal role in our construction projects. Responsibilities include ensuring safety across all operations, analyzing project plans and proposals, defining scope of work, managing bid processes, coordinating subcontractor proposals, and supporting project management during construction phases. Additionally, the Estimator will contribute to project scheduling, cost analysis, and feedback mechanisms to optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and uphold safety standards throughout all operations. Analyze project plans and proposals to define scope of work. Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Identify bid opportunities, review bid documents, and assess risks through site visits. Coordinate subcontractor and supplier proposals. Support development of project schedule and transition to construction management team. Manage production cost-history through field verifications and analysis. Perform job costing analysis and provide feedback on performance versus budget. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 5-15 years of experience in Structures / Bridge Projects. Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred. Strong background in field operations and estimating from a contractor's perspective. Extensive experience in heavy-civil engineering. Excellent teamwork, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
