Responsibilities
• Setting up, operating, or tending machines to work with metal or plastic material• Verifying dimensional accuracy and quality of part details• Reading blueprints and performing periodic maintenance and inspections• Cleaning and lubricating machines• Examining completed workpieces for defects and sorting defective pieces• Grinding out burrs or sharp edges• Adjusting ram strokes of presses• Lubricating workpieces with oil• Loading workpieces, plastic material, or chemical solutions• Installing, aligning, and locking specified punches, dies, cutting blades, or other fixtures
Requirements
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and organize and prioritize time effectively• Experience in machine operation is helpful but not required
