Descripion Summary: Under the direction of the Controller, the Bookkeeper willhave high visibility and manage day-to-day financial activities of theorganization. This individual must own a positive and solution-orientedattitude and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may beassigned.
Conduct all accounts payable and receivable functions according to the direction of priority from the Controller Reconcile credit card statements Customer service orientation and negotiation skills Daily company reports – prepared and distributed Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications along with computerized accounting software Assist with administrative duties as necessary High attention to detail as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills High level of dependability and a team player Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: ·Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
·Strong organizational and analytical skills
·Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics GP – a plus not required
·Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
·Fluent in English
Education Associatesdegree in Accounting
Experience Requirements 2+years of experience in related field
