Responsibilities
• Technical inspections of new, used or reconditioned medical equipment• Repair of damaged medical equipment• Overhaul of medical equipment
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years BMET experience is required• Imaging experience is required for the Tracy Army Depot• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing• Ability to work effectively within a team environment• Ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language• Familiarity with the Biomedical field and its concepts, practices and procedures• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time• Ability to push/pull equipment to and from carts• Ability to kneel, stand, bend, and reach during equipment repair/maintenance• Willingness and ability to travel frequently as required
Key Skills Needed
• Use of authorized Army Automated Systems including, but not limited to, the Defense Medical Logistics Shared Standard Support (DMLSS)• Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E)• Theatre Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS)• Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A)
