Responsibilities
• Perform omics data analysis• Perform data normalization, transformation, and statistical bioinformatic analyses• Perform detailed analyses of genomic, transcriptomic, or proteomic sequences• Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines• Possess a good understanding of various omics public databases• Contribute to the development of omics data engineering methods• Build visualizations using power BI/Tableau/Shiny• Collaborate with cross-functional teams• Stay updated with the latest advancements in bioinformatics• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and quickly adapt to new technologies
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biological Sciences, or a related field• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in bioinformatics• Demonstrated understanding of fundamental concepts in genetics/genomics, molecular and cellular biology, and bioinformatics• Proficiency in analyzing bioinformatics data such as DNA/RNA/Proteins• Strong knowledge and experience in using OMICS databases• Solid programming skills in languages such as Nextflow, CWL, WDL, Python, R• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills• Customer centricity and proficiency in customer coordination and management• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
