JOB TITLE: Billing Operations Manager
POSITION: Full Time
Location: Anchorage, AK (On-Site)

Position Responsibilities:
Functions and Duties:

Manages revenue cycle activities to achieve internal benchmarks for A/R, claim health, denial rates, collections and patient accounts
Communicate effectively and professionally with other ABS management, providers, their front office staff, insurance representatives, and internal team members with the ability to build constructive relationships
Oversight and support of some members of the professional billing team. Prepares performance evaluations, coaches, counsels, and takes disciplinary actions as necessary
Drives team performance to meet productivity expectations
Upskill existing team members continuously
Assign tasks based on team member capabilities maintaining coverage at all times
Maintain organizational databases
Other duties as assigned or as needed

Required Skills

Very familiar with all aspects of revenue cycle including the lifecycle of medical claims
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands successfully without letting any items get dropped by the wayside or overlooked
Extreme close attention to detail and stellar organizational skills are a must
Professional written and verbal communication with the ability to document and converse effectively
Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft, EHRs, etc.
Can work independently, research and resolve issues, answer questions using tools provided, and is resourceful
Maintain confidentiality at all times

Required Experience

Education

high school diploma or GED equivalent required; College Degree preferred or equivalent experience will be considered
Experience

minimum of three (3) years in the healthcare industry specifically revenue cycle sector
Supervisory experience

minimum two (2) years personnel supervisory experience
Eager to develop personally and professionally
