Responsibilities
• Invoices customers in a timely manner after load delivers• Partners with Credit department to meet quality standards on invoices• Investigates unbilled loads and communicates to resolve• Processes Carrier settlements to keep payments current• Collaborates with others to meet individual and department goals
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required• Higher education in Accounting, Business or related preferred• Minimum 1 year work experience in billing, collections, accounting/financial• Basic understanding of general administrative, accounts payable, and billing procedures• Proficient in Microsoft Office• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and decision making skills• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environment and handle high work volumes• Strong 10-key and keyboarding skills• Self-motivated and able to work independently• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal• Willingness to work on a variety of projects• Responsive to customer needs and occasional travel required
