Job summary
VIPcare is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Primary Care Clinics in Clermont, FLThe successful candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and EnglishThe work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
• Obtain patient history, assess and triage patients, and record information on charts• Explain treatment procedures and prepare patients and exam rooms• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures• Perform clinical duties, administer injections, dispense medications, etc.• Perform diagnostic tests and CLIA-waived lab tests• Complete medical charts and monitor disposable inventory• Assist with registration and perform clerical duties
Requirements
• Accredited Medical Asst. program (RMA or CMA) and CPR certification• Minimum of 4-5 years medical assisting experience• Knowledge of HIPAA and basic computer skills• Bilingual in Spanish and English• Basic knowledge of pharmacology and phlebotomy
