Bilingual Administrative Specialist Location Hillsboro, OR : As part of the Adelante Mujeres Chicas Youth Development team, the Administrative Specialist contributes to the planning, coordinating, and executing program expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing program expansion activities along with partnering with external stakeholders and internal teams. The Administrative Specialist reports to Associate Director of Education Program. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of program expansion activities Regularly review program manuals and documentation to verify their alignment with current programming requirements, ensuring the sustained relevance and effectiveness of the program Liaise with internal teams to gather necessary information and updates for program expansion Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders as needed Actively participate in program activities to gain firsthand insights and knowledge, including after-school sessions, events, parent workshops, and summer camps QUALIFICATIONS: We recognize that there are multiple expressions of professional readiness. A passionate commitment to the goals and mission of Adelante Mujeres and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities BA degree in Education or similar field preferred; or a comparable combination of education and experience Bilingual in Spanish/English required Minimum 1 year of curriculum development or strongly related comparable experience Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage, track and prioritize multiple projects or tasks simultaneously Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and communicate accurate information Excellent writing and editing skills Ability to work independently along with strong organization and time management skills Committed to education, social justice, women's empowerment and the environment Additional Requirements: COVID-19 vaccine and booster required except for religious or medical accommodation Complete Criminal Background Registry enrollment letter for facility number CC503161 Possess current driver's license and auto insurance coverage Ability to travel out of town to attend workshops or trainings SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary range: $25.00 - $26.90 per hour, depending on qualifications Classification: Full Time, Hourly Telework: up to 3 days a week Benefits: health, vision, dental, short-term and long-term disability, 401K pension plan, life insurance, EAP, professional development opportunities, paid leave of absence, paid holidays (12.5 days annually), sick days (up to 9 days annually), vacation per year (up to 20 days years one through five, up to 25 days after five years), and sabbatical (1 month at 10 years of employment) Opportunity for broad and impactful work with a visionary, growing organization TO APPLY: Please complete a job application or submit the following material electronically (PDF preferred) through our career website:
