Responsibilities:
- Compile data from various internal and external sources to create insightful reports for utilization by other departments and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve purchase order and payment discrepancies, ensuring smooth transactions.
- Conduct reconciliations and meticulously review transactions for accuracy, maintaining precise financial records.
- Manage recordkeeping tasks and process outstanding checks efficiently.
- Support teams by conducting thorough variance analysis, audits, and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Facilitate audit activities by furnishing the necessary documentation and materials to external auditors.
- Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis support to fellow team members upon request.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Ability to work onsite in DC at least 2 days a week.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Demonstrated professionalism with a proven commitment to collaborative teamwork.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey recommendations effectively.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and industry policies.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven with exceptional multitasking abilities.
