A new and exciting CNO opportunity has just opened up in the Greater Seattle Area at a well-established behavioral hospital. 
About the hospital: This 100+ bed Hospital has built a strong reputation in the Greater Seattle Area for excellent patient care and outstanding services. It offers inpatient and outpatient services for a variety of mental health disorders including PTSD, depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, and more. It also treats substance abuse disorders such as recreational drugs, alcohol, and prescription drugs.
Reporting Structure: The CNO will work closely with Managers, Directors, and C-Suite Administrators. Weekly meetings with departmental leaders will be vital in order to ensure each department is functioning properly, meeting monthly goals, and following patient care guidelines. The CNO will be supported by board certified physicians, licensed therapists and RNs. The Chief Nurse Officer will also meet with hospital Executives to ensure the facility is meeting the proper standards and each department is performing successfully for patients and staff. 
Job Responsibilities: The CNO will direct the fiscal budget for nursing administration in order to ensure each department is fiscally successful. This person must also ensure all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are being met for each department. The CNO will also manage the staffing for the leaders of each department and assure that the nursing administration team executes optimal care daily while taking into account the hospital's Mission, Vision, and Values. 
Location: The Greater Seattle Area is famous for many reasons - you can visit Pike's Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Seattle Symphony, all in a day's walk. The CNO will find a lot of popular cafes and restaurants in the area which is perfect for a family trip day out. If you want to explore outside of the city, try hiking, biking, or boating in one of the many natural areas around this region. In addition, the Greater Seattle Area has excellent housing, schools, and parks for families to enjoy.
