Responsibilities
• Define and guarantee efficient geometrical audit of plant vehicles.• Manage and report component and assembly compliance results.• Drive regularly scheduled issue conformity meetings and track resolution.• Define pilots for each issue and ensure execution coordination.• Contribute to the convergence of Assembly Tooling to ensure compliance to KPIs.• Drive the escalation process with the Launch Project Manager to resolve red KPIs.• Read part dimensional data and recognize fit and finish and perceived quality issues.
Requirements
• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.• Minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive areas of Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and/or Product Quality.• Understanding of vehicle design and assembly.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills.• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and develop action plans for issue resolution.• Knowledge of tooling and plant processes, metrology principles, and statistical analysis.• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
