The River Merchant in Kent, OH is looking for a bartender to join our Bar Team. Our establishment is located at 911 North Mantua Street in Kent, Ohio including a seasonal deck overlooking Cuyahoga River. Featuring a rustic vibe and upscale food and beverage options, The River Merchant is Kent's premier riverfront restaurant. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working; one who takes initiative in providing tailored personal service to our guests. We are Looking For:
Experienced Bartenders 20-30 Hours a Week + Sunday & Monday Availability Qualifications:
Proven working experience as a bartender (2+ Years) Craft Cocktail Knowledge/ Experience Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Positive attitude and direct communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Ability to memorize menus+ recipes Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and orderly bar and workstation Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Comply with all food and beverage regulations Interact with guests and take food and beverage orders Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations Serve beer, wine and liquor pours Mix ingredients to prepare craft cocktails We are looking forward to reviewing your application.
