Raines has maintained a family-oriented culture that believes in building relationships with our associates, with our partners and within the communities where we operate.Responsibilities:Providing outstanding services to our guestsCompleting opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.Trained in the front of the restaurantInput orders into the cash register system and collect payment from the customTake orders and record them in the MICROS system.Prepare food and coffee beveragesEnsure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at the appropriate timesBus coffee cart areas and tablesClean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the dayObtain change required for the expected business level and Count bank at the end of the shiftComplete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.Will be trained on cooking, using exact recipes to make all foods listed on the menu.All other related tasks will be requested on a case-by-case basis.EducationHigh school education/GED.ExperiencePrevious experience in a hotel or related field preferred.Hours requiredScheduled days and times vary based on hotel needs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.Skills and Abilities• Must be able to pass TIPS certification/alcohol awareness training and food handler training.• Knowledge or and ability to operate a computer.• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
