Barista - Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge & Resort - Full Time Year Round Location Pigeon Forge, TN : At Dollywood Parks & Resorts, we create memories worth repeating. We do this every day at Dollywood Resorts, which include over 600 rooms and 15 Food & Beverage outlets, all located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Our future plans include growing our resort footprint to over 1200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood. Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities Welcomes customers promptly with a professional and friendly attitude. Determine the needs and educate the customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions Prepares and sells hot and cold beverages including coffee and espresso drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques. Sells a variety of prepared food items; using proper equipment to heat items when necessary. Stocks and presents food/beverage items to standard. Orders/requisitions food and supplies through lead/sous chef. Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes. Uses POS accurately. Handles cash and credit card transactions as directed. Participate in upsell strategies as directed by management. Participates in daily line ups. Practices service standards and current training throughout service. Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time. Education and Experience Required Requires thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field. This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of one year job-related experience. Must be able to obtain food handler certification. Flexible availability to include weekends, holidays, daytime or evening schedule. Must be at least 16 years old. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
