Banquet Supervisor

The Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta Dunwoody is hiring a Banquet Supervisor.Responsibilities:Lead Banquet team in the serving of guests during banquet functions to ensure positive guest experience.Plan opening/closing assignmentsEnsure that all public areas are neat and clean*Coordinate with banquet staff set-ups, changes and time schedules for all functionsOperate as a banquet server; setting-up, greeting and serving the guest and breaking-down the functionInspect banquet areas at end of function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are cleanKnow the menu for each function served and be able to explain the major ingredients and preparation method for each item to be servedQualifications:Banquet Supervisor experience required preferably in a hotel or resortSuperior communication skills to provide information and associated services to hotel management and guestsAbility to transport up to 30lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shiftAbility to work effectively under time constraints and deadlinesProven team playerMust have availability to work various shifts, weekends and holidaysAbout Company:Located off I-285, our hotel is two miles from Perimeter Mall and Dunwoody MARTA train station with access to downtown Atlanta.
