Oversee room set-up (tables, chairs, and equipment), beverage and food service, and general guest requests.
Ensure events are displayed correctly on the event board.
Check-in servers, assign stations, and delegate pre/post function duties.
Set food service tables.
Lead event staff to properly execute event; guide, coach, and provide direction as needed.
Monitor the proper handling, storage, and security of all event equipment.
Maintain contact with the beverage and food team to ensure complete, effective communication between food production and food service. Proactively communicate and provide updates to guest count, adjustments, and special requests.
Inspect table place settings, including table linen, china, glass, silverware, and condiments for correct placement and adherence to brand standards.
Oversee clearing and post function clean-up. Check servers out, ensure function rooms and storage areas are clean, and equipment is cleaned and stored properly.
Assist Event Operations Manager in event record keeping and reporting. Report to work on time and in full uniform.  Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management, which the associate is capable of performing.  Each associate is required to follow the rules as found in the Concord Hospitality Handbook.  Desired Skills and Experience: Experience in banquets/events.  Experience in a lead or captain role preferred.  Flexible availability is required including nights and weekends.  Compensation:  The starting hourly pay for this position is $15.00, depending on experience.
