Currently, we are seeking a Banking Associate to be part of our Kimberly Clark Accounts Payable team in Knoxville, TN. 
In this role, you will:
Receives, sorts, and scans incoming manual vendor invoices ensuring that duplicate submissions are not introduced into the payables system. Works directly with vendors to migrate to preferred electronic invoicing methods and to eliminate statements. Works with vendors to recover aged debits deemed uncollectible by outsourced provider. Acts as a subject matter expert for escalated electronic invoicing issues. Audits outsourced provider work streams to ensure speed, accuracy, and a well-controlled process is in place. Reviews and approves payment action forms and stop payment requests. Validates and prepares paper checks for delivery. Reconciles HR check runs and communicates any discrepancies. Researches and resolves vendor refund checks and returned K-C checks. Tracks and resolves aged checks. Prepares reports to identify vendors who do not accept electronic payments. Completes annual 1099 and 1042 filing. Supports continuous improvement initiatives of the GBS Procure to Pay Team. Acts as a liaison between vendors, banking partners, and outsourced business partners. Acts as an escalation point for file transfer issues between SAP and banking partners. College degree with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred. 2+ years of experience within a relevant business function preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and work independently. Previous customer service, customer contact or interpersonal relations experience. Experience with LEAN and continuous improvement.
