Bandsaw Operator - First Shift

NOVA Automation is seeking a skilled, energetic, and reliable candidate to fill the position of Sandblast Operator first shift 5:30 am – 2:00 pm. 
Position:  Bandsaw Operator
Schedule: 5:30 am – 2:00 pm M-F 
Salary Range: $18.50 - $26.50 per hour 
*Pay is based on education and experience

Responsibilities:  Comply with all safety guidelines and use all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).? 
Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces 
Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment 
Load and unload the blast cabinet 
Assist with painting or coating as needed 
Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed 
Other duties as assigned?? 
Required Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED 
Must be at least 18 years of age 
Basic math and reasoning skills 
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time 
Must have good hand/eye coordination 
Preferred Qualifications:  Self-motivated and self-directed 
Experience working with or removing heavy metals is a plus 
Previous sandblasting experience or training 
Experience with power tools
