Baler Operator - Night Shift

Job summary
Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is hiring a Baler Operator.The operator will be responsible for operating a baling machine to bale scrap foam.Qualifications include being at least 18 years old and having good mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities
• Push empty scrap buggies to the baling area and exchange them with full buggies.• Separate foam types for separate baling if necessary.• Load scrap foam into the baler and activate with hand buttons.• Tie off completed bales and move them to the scales for weighing and tagging.• Move completed bales to the storage area, ensuring they are tagged with the correct weight.• Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in the production area.• Practice proper safety techniques.• Complete general area maintenance duties on equipment as assigned.• Follow all procedures and guidelines.• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old.• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.• Attendance/Punctuality, Quality, Quantity, and Safety are important.• Must have good attention to detail.
