At Chick-fil-A, the Back of House Director is a part of the high performance leadership team. The Back of House Director is responsible for overseeing the kitchen team in all aspects of Back of House operations and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. The Back of House Director is responsible for ensuring all kitchen policies and procedures are being met at all times. This position requires the Back of House Director to know all Chick-fil-A standards and ensure recipes are being followed accurately. The Back of House Director should have a vast knowledge of food safety and insure all food safety standards are being met. The Back of House Director upholds our Chick-fil-A standards to serve high quality food with high quality service at all times. Position Type:

Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team Be a friendly, encouraging team player Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Insures all food safety procedures are being utilized and followed Oversees kitchen leadership team Insures all food safety procedures are being utilized and followed Implements kitchen operational procedures to increase business performance Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback Qualifications and Requirements:
Smile Create and Maintain Eye Contact Speak Enthusiastically Make Emotional Connections with Guests Reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members Strong commitment to superior customer service Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility Prior experience as restaurant manager or restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
