Aviation Maintenance Academic Program Director

As the Aviation Maintenance Academic Program Director of a prestigious university, your leadership will guide the aviation maintenance academic program. This position requires ensuring adherence to FAA regulations and industry standards, alongside spearheading innovative curriculum development.
Responsibilities: Manage 14 CFR Part 147 certificate operations and documentation Update program curriculum to align with industry best practices Collaborate with faculty to enhance the learning experience for students Administer industry advisory board and assist with corporate partnerships Design and develop curriculum for aviation maintenance program Lead assessment and accreditation processes Teach aviation maintenance education courses and programs Serve on university and community committees Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging Qualifications: Master's degree in aviation maintenance or related field Airframe and Powerplant certification 3+ years of relevant industry experience Strong communication and team collaboration skills Knowledge of FAA regulations, especially 14 CFR Part 147 Experience in collegiate aviation maintenance education Benefits: 401K with 5% company contribution and 8% match, Medical/Dental/Vision coverage
