Our work depends on an Availability Team Lead joining our MATS team remotely to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities.

As an Availability Team Lead, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on an Availability Team Lead joining our team to design the services to meet the required availability and recovery.

Monitoring the service components. Implementing monitoring tools. Acknowledging the events and decide when to escalate. Identifying performance bottlenecks and take corrective actions. Measuring the availability of IT services and the impact of service outages. Monitoring the actual availability achieved versus the targets and ensure that the shortfalls are addressed. Consolidating the downtime information from the service management functions. Preparing and distributing the Service Availability Report. Identifying areas for improvement in the system. Deploying the availability management associated methods, processes, and techniques. Reviewing and auditing the deployed Availability Management process, its associated techniques, and methods. Determining the availability requirements from the business for new and enhanced services. Assessing and optimizing the capability of the infrastructure.

Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant hands-on experince Advanced experince with JBoss Application Server, RedHat Linux, and Technology Troubleshooting Proficient with AWS platform and Technology Architecture Design Proficiency with static and dynamic vulnerability analysis and penetration testing techniques. Proficient with Jenkins Experience with one or more of the following languages and technologies: Java, Scala, JavaScript, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Web Services, REST, and/or Hibernate Experince managing matrixed and remote employees Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as, but not limited to: SAFe, Scrum, Kanban Must be able to obtain Federal Public Trust clearance. Must have established residency in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years. The likely salary range for this position is $89,680 - $134,520. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
