Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities
• Perform work outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy• Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints and inspection• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts• Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or at customer's request• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further work is required• Communicate with service advisor if additional work is needed• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order• Road test vehicles including inventory and client vehicles
Requirements
• Service Technician or Auto Mechanic experience preferred• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair• Dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies• Positive, friendly attitude with an eagerness to improve• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment• Teammate with ability to collaborate effectively• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
