What's a typical day as an Automotive Production Associate? You'll be:
• Tracking supplies and equipment, and notifying the manager of inventory levels.
• Installing vehicle accessories.
• Disassembling and reassembling vehicles.
• Performing wiring per specifications, adjusting, repairing, and/or replacing wiring and relays in ignition, lighting, and safety control systems (preferred).
• Conducting electronic troubleshooting and automotive maintenance.
• Documenting service and installation actions in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have background experience in vocational school, automotive, trade school experience, or auto dealer experience (preferred).
• Have experience working with automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
• Have a solid comfort level using a variety of power tools such as bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, solder and soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives, and air saws.
• Are comfortable measuring and using a tape measure.
• Are knowledgeable in reading blueprints (preferred).
• Are able to work with chemicals.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Have a valid/active Driver's license.
