Automotive Collision Estimator

Job description Work hours will be Monday-Thursday 7-5 and Friday 8-12.
Starting pay will be based off interview and estimating experience, and experienced estimators may start at a higher pay.
Pay will increase once estimate efficiency and accuracy improve.
CCC Estimating Software is used.

Position Summary: Examine damaged vehicles and write damage assessment for cost of repairs. Assist customers with questions regarding their vehicles damage and the repair process. Communicate with the customer throughout the entire repair process with status updates and provide a high level of customer service. Work with body shop manager and technicians to ensure the customer's repair concerns are addressed. Be able to work with computers and understand the estimating software and also be able to us MS Office Programs. Understand the different Insurance programs that we work with and follow up with insurance companies for payments. Must have excellent communications skills and be able to build relationships with customers, technicians, and insurance representatives. Assist in any administrative duties when necessary. Requirements Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. At least two years of customer service experience High level of verbal/written communication, negation and problem solving skills. Basic Microsoft Office knowledge, computer software and internet proficiency. Must have self-confidence, enjoy learning and have a high attention to detail.
