Automation Operator

Job Duties and Focus This is a one-person operation with openings on our 2 nd and 3 rd shifts, however training for the first 30 days will occur on 1st shift.  Once fully trained, you will move to your respective shift and have responsibility for production on the automated lapping cell including output and quality of product. As the only automation operator on the shift, you must be responsible and resourceful with prior skills. The qualified person will be responsible for maintaining the process to produce parts to specifications at the production rates, perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance.  Prior experience with gauging and experience in Precision Surface grinding, Blanchard Grinding or Lapping/Honing is strongly preferred.   Exposure to robotics or automated equipment is also preferred.
