Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
You will provide technical support to all operating and maintenance departments to help in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to PLC and MMI programs.
You will help us enhance the Quality of our products, reduce customer complaints, and ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations.
You will correct unsafe conditions, to enhance the safety and health of our employees and insure compliance with OSHA regulations
You will improve productivity through efficiency gains, yield improvements, labor use, and other rate improvements.
You will ensure projects are designed, managed and constructed following Conagra Engineering Standards.
You will facilitate technology transfer from Corporate Engineering, R&D and the Manufacturing Engineering Team to the Manufacturing Operations and Maintenance Teams insuring proper startup and training plans.
You will be a technical consultant to Manufacturing by analyzing system and equipment failures to troubleshoot problems and to facilitate maintenance activities, procedural changes or capital improvements. Develop, implement and monitor automation and control strategies and system architecture for the Darien, WI facility
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
4 -7 years electrical engineering experience, specifically with controls
Corporate Engineering or related experience in a consumer product manufacturing environment, food processing.
Capital Project Management experience including managing scope, budget, and start-up.
