Auto Damage Appraiser Overview: We're seeking a skilled and adaptable Auto Damage Appraiser to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and estimating repair costs at various locations.
Responsibilities: · On-Site Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections of damaged vehicles at various locations, which may include repair shops, customer locations, or salvage yards.
· Damage Assessment: Assess damages to vehicles, including structural, mechanical, and cosmetic, to determine repair requirements and estimate costs accurately.
· Documentation: Document detailed appraisal reports, including photographs, repair estimates, and parts lists, using appraisal software, and ensure timely submission.
· Customer Interaction: Communicate appraisal findings and repair recommendations clearly and professionally to customers, repair facilities, and insurance representatives.
· Negotiation: Negotiate repair estimates and settlements with repair facilities and insurance providers to ensure fair and cost-effective solutions.
· Quality Assurance: Monitor repair progress and ensure that repairs meet quality standards and specifications, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements Qualifications: · Automotive Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, including mechanical, structural, and cosmetic repairs.
· Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to assess damages accurately and estimate repair costs effectively.
· Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey appraisal findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
· Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and assessment of vehicle damages, even in varied environments.
· Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally and adapt to changing schedules and locations as required by the job.
· Customer Service: Customer-focused mindset with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with customers and stakeholders.
· Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for fair and cost-effective repair solutions.
Work Environment: This position requires local travel to various locations for on-site inspections, interactions with customers, repair facilities, and insurance representatives.
