We are a reputable CPA firm looking for a Staff Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Public Accounting audit experience, with CPA certification being preferred. Some day travel may be required for this position. If you are a team player, and a go-getter with an eagerness to learn, we would love to speak with you. Other Requirements are as follows:
Responsibilities:
* Conduct financial and operational audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards
* Prepare financial statements, reports, and other audit deliverables
* Manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
* Work effectively in a team environment
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members
* Identify and suggest process improvements
* Maintain excellent client relationships
* Complete administrative tasks related to engagements
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
* CPA certification preferred
* 3-5 years of Public Accounting audit experience
* Audit engagement experience
* Non-profit experience a plus
* Affordable housing industry experience a plus
* Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
* Well-organized and detail-oriented
* Excellent computer skills
What do we offer?
* 55-60 Hour work weeks Jan-March
* 4 day, 32 hour work weeks from Memorial Day to the end of September
