We're seeking a talented Associate, Trading Services Representative I to join our Brokerage Services Team. This role will be located in either Uniondale, NY or Lake Mary - FL– Hybrid.This role offers a fast-paced environment and dynamic culture where cultivating talent while maintaining a "client first" mindset is paramount. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Providing high quality customer service as well as handling of incoming trade calls. The individual in this role must have an understanding of financial markets, market risk and firm liability and shall process customer orders effecting timely execution in equities, options, fixed income, and mutual funds in accordance with current policy and procedure. Supporting managed account operations, supervising order flow, web services, compliance, and rollout of new products. Effectively resolving customer inquiries by accessing various applications and providing market and account related information such as activity, portfolio holdings, cost basis, corporate actions, commissions, and fees. Providing appliable security information such as price, yield, performance information and additional information that adds value to our customers. Processing orders as per client instruction on stocks, fixed income products, mutual funds, options, etc. Providing guidance and support for on-line access, navigation and functionality. Collaborating with team members, and internal departments effectively to ensure timely and accurate resolution of complex client inquiries and concerns.Identifying qualified clients and refer clients to the BNY Mellon Advisors for investment recommendations.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: FINRA SIE and Series 7 & 63 licenses. FINRA Series 24 will be advantageous. BA/BS degree and at least two years customer services experience within the financial services industry. Experience working within a brokerage firm operations would be advantageous. Proficiency with use of multiple computer applications, simultaneously, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Demonstrate self-confidence and the ability to maintain composure in difficult situationsAbility to pass a comprehensive training program of 4-6 weeks and telephone simulation exams.At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $41,600 and $70,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
