In this role, you'll be the quarterback for new product launches, leading the charge from concept to production for industry giants like Caterpillar and John Deere. You'll collaborate closely with a talented cross-functional team to ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities and Impact:
Own the launch process: You'll spearhead the launch of new products, ensuring they meet all customer specifications and achieve on-time delivery.
Become a trusted partner: Build strong relationships with industry leaders, fostering trust and confidence in our capabilities.
Be a problem-solving ninja: Proactively identify and resolve technical hurdles, cost concerns, and potential delays.
Drive continuous improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency.
Leave a lasting legacy: Develop comprehensive engineering documentation to support future production and ensure product consistency.
What You'll Bring to the Table
A BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (prior experience a plus, but we value the right fit!)
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to build strong relationships.
Proficiency in engineering software like Solidworks and CAD Sheet Metal Design.
Bonus Points for:
Experience with Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
