Handle a portfolio of countries, as the senior coverage officer for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the Caucasus and Central Asia. Participating in limit management discussions with the business unit and senior management for countries with constrained risk appetite. Analyzing macroeconomic, geopolitical, and political developments in various regions and communicating views to the Risk department. Contributing to the development of the Country Risk management framework such as the enhancement of existing stress testing practices in collaboration with teams in Credit and Market Risk. Collaborating with colleagues in IT and Reporting to improve the functionality and user friendliness of Country Risk reporting systems. Maintaining ownership of the sovereign rating template, as well as Country risk analytical tools and frameworks related to stress testing and illiquid risk management.Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $125000 and $140000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.Requirements:Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years as an Associate, Analyst, or a closely related occupation.
