This OpportunityOur Financial Operations & Analysis department is looking to hire an Associate to join their team!Membersof the FOA teamshare a strong drive to provide timely, accurate, and critical financial data analysis for the firm.In this role, you willhave cross-functional visibility and the opportunity to work alongside internal groups, such as Asset Management, and external service providers.Our team works in a hybrid environment, with 3-days spent working in Heitman's office each week.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Applyingyour knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysisinday-to-dayresponsibilities.Learninghow to calculate property and debt valuations as well as investment performance metrics.Reviewingand approvingaccounting transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and waterfall calculations.Reviewingfinancial statements, supporting schedules, and related footnotes.Qualifications:Degree in Accounting,Finance, or Real Estate0to2years of experienceAnalytically minded with anability to manipulate and analyze data to identify trends, solve problems, and make informedrecommendationsStrong project and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-pacedenvironmentCommitment and willingness to manage competing(sometimes tight)deadlinesStrong team player and collaboration skills to supportworking together across multiple functionaldepartmentsMotivated by independentandteam-oriented successesStrong problem solverwith the ability toleverageyour analytical and critical thinking skills in school and/orin the workenvironmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsA "think outside the box" mindset with a desire to brainstorm creative solutions in our ever-changing industryA fundamental knowledge of ExcelThe FirmFounded in 1966, Heitman is a global real estate investment management firm.
