This position is for an Electrical Engineer with broad interests whose expertise can be applied to the development of cutting-edge military programs. Responsibilities include:
Participate on Integrated Product Teams for complex development programs. Work with senior engineers to design and develop circuits in the areas of analog electronics, digital electronics, FPGA and/or other general electrical engineering design functions. Generate schematic designs using CAD tools such as Mentor Graphics. Utilize electrical CAD tools for circuit simulations. Work with board layout specialists to create printed circuit board designs. Work with manufacturing operations to support the build of circuit card assemblies. Test and debug prototype circuit designs. Strong analytical skills and the ability organize/prioritize job assignments and tasks. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a development team. Basic Qualifications A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet all of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Have strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a development team. A Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of experience. Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Preferred Qualifications A Masters Degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Experience in a production environment. Prior experience with energetics. Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
