This role represents BTS as the overall Integration Leader working directly with cross-functional business and BTS teams to execute deal transactions to further grow AbbVie's Therapeutic Areas. This role performs as the primary BTS Lead responsible for planning, executing, addressing cross-functional dependencies across BTS to achieve AbbVie's desired end-state operating model for a given deal.
In this role, you'll be responsible for: Act as the overall Integration Leader, representing BTS, and working directly with cross-functional business and BTS teams to execute deal transactions. This includes leading due diligence, integration planning, risk management, stakeholder management, program change management, and ensuring successful deal execution. Serve as the primary BTS Lead, responsible for planning, executing, and addressing cross-functional dependencies across BTS to achieve AbbVie's desired end-state operating model for a given deal. Collaborate closely with business and BTS teams to define business decisions, solution options, and recommendations based on deal model, size, complexity, risk, and speed to business value and operational state. Take ownership of multiple deal transactions as the Deal Lead, responsible for overall program health, financials, reporting, and ensuring successful outcomes. Establish and manage the BTS Subject Matter Expert (SME) team, consisting of experts with specialized knowledge in relevant areas. Collaborate with BTS Leadership to define role expectations and secure necessary support from the team. Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing speed and agility in BTS services and capabilities for smaller sized transactions. Innovate and implement solutions that raise the bar and bring value to the business faster. Escalate and drive resolution of risks and issues cross-functionally, engaging necessary stakeholders throughout the process. Ensure compliance with BTS's System Development Lifecycle, Corporate, and Divisional policies and procedures throughout the deal transaction and integration process. Qualifications Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role: Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline. MBA preferred. 8+ years' experience delivering complex, cross-functional, global programs; having successfully demonstrated strong project management, executive stakeholder engagement, and Business Systems application deployment. Beneficial 3+ years' experience working on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and collaboration. Bio-tech or regulated industry experience designing IT solutions across different business functions such as R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Commercial and Corporate functions.
