Joining the team offers access to financial specializations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and asset management, client contracts and billing, and revenue recognition.? We are currently seeking anAssociateAccounts Receivable Specialistto join our team in our Richmond, VA location. TheSpecialistwill be responsible for full supporting life cycle accounts receivable management in a fast-paced, high volume, customer centric, metrics driven environment.? Responsibilities:Resolve customer issues impacting payment of invoices through pro-active, out-bound communication with clients and the sales teamDrive high customer satisfaction and retention levels through relationship building, professional and courteous communicationManage high transaction volume portfolio in a competitive customer centric environmentBecome proficient in understanding of company A/R life-cycle within a 2-month time frameIdentify root causes and scenarios that require the need to escalate slow or non-pay situationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit college or university, in Finance or related field of study preferred.Evidence of strong academic performance in collegeA track record of commitment to prior employees.Up to one year of related experience in customer service, outbound calling, and/or finance.Ability to problem solve. We want our team members to think outside the box and be innovative to find the best resolution for the customer.Good listener who can multitask to solve problems.Ability to work within time deadlines by prioritizing workload and understanding the priority business outcomes.Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter and develop basic formulas.
