The Associate Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for waste servicesThey will make outbound and receive inbound calls to retain business and sell additional servicesThe position requires knowledge of the company's services and pricing structures

Responsibilities
• Proactively reach out to existing customers to maintain and retain their business• Develop and maintain knowledge of the company's services and pricing structures• Perform contractual re-signs with existing customers to extend relationships• Respond to cancellation requests and support company pricing initiatives• Utilize Salesforce to schedule and document activities, and capture customer information• Increase customer penetration by selling full suite of Republic Services products• Regularly meet with Sales Manager to review customer retention and relationship activities• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
• Waste or transportation industry experience preferred• High school diploma or G.E.D. required• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required
Key Skills Needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to proactively reach out to customers• Knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management• Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software
