Assistant To The Provost

Job Description: Greet all incoming guests and telephone calls, ascertains nature of business and route to appropriate person or take a message and distribute accordingly. Log incoming and outgoing materials, date stamp and forward for processing. Serve as liaison between all internal TSU departments and external stakeholders.
Maintain calendar for Vice President of Academic Affairs and its Associate/Assistant Vice Presidents, process all travel requisitions and claims for personnel in the Office of Academic Affairs. Take minutes at Dean's Council and/or other meetings as requested by the Vice and Associate Vice Presidents. Assist with collaborations and relationships with other Universities and Colleges.
Serve on Academic Affairs Operating Manual Committee inclusive of scheduling meetings, follow-up on procedure changes, etc. Assist with training and initiatives for Academic Affairs' personnel regarding divisional processes, assist with upcoming accreditations visits (working with deans and others with travel and other arrangements) as directed, oversee key request process, personnel actions, and support to the Academic Affairs Budget Officer, as needed. Update and maintain the Academic Affairs Organization Chart.
Cross-train and perform other related duties as requested. Minimum Qualifications:
