Position Summary: As the Assistant Director of Celebree School Fort Mill, you are a vital part of the leadership team overseeing the talent, brand, and operations of the early care and education program. You will assist the School Director with the day-to-day operations of the school. Qualifications: This position requires strong leadership skills concentrated in organization, effective communication (written and oral), problem-solving, relationship management, forward-thinking, and strong initiative. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, disposition, and ability required. What you'll do! Assist the School Director in managing the early care and education program. Promote and represent the early care and education program. Ensure excellence with school standards, policies, and accreditation. Interface with families for enrollment and maintain accurate records. Assist in planning and monitoring program budgets and accounts payable. Maintain proper working order of school equipment and ensure adequate supplies. Communicate with leadership regarding school operations. Develop annual professional development plans for the education team. Collaborate to identify developmental and mental health needs of the children. Support quality services that foster the 7 domains of Learning of every child enrolled in the program. What will make you successful! Minimum skills and experience: South Carolina director qualified. Desired skills and experience: childcare director credential, CDA, NAC credential, or related. Preferred bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, Childcare Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related business degree. Capacity to work prudently and tactfully with staff, parents, and volunteers in a supportive role. 3-5 years of experience in early childhood program management- corporate, franchise, and/or large branded school preferred but not mandatory. Preferred experience in implementing inclusive curriculum for diverse learning environments. Skills to enable teaching staff development. Effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment to meet given deadlines. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and childcare management databases. Specific Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, self-direction, dependability, accountability, conflict resolution. Digital literacy, professional writing, work ethic, career management, intercultural fluency. Public speaking, presentation skills, strategic thinking, creativity, mediation.
