The Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to generate and build sales through prospecting, outreach, and marketing. The primary measurement of their performance is sales; both events and "raw". The Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager will partner with their venue's leadership team to book events, reservations and maximize sales to meet and exceed budget expectations.
Some Duties Include: Participates regularly in communication opportunities with team members (premeals, one-on-ones, seminars) to build rapport and continuously improve event communication and execution. Hosts regular in-store Dining & Entertainment Specialist meetings and seminars to promote ongoing training and development of team members with the Dining & Entertainment Manager. Works with team members and Dining & Entertainment Specialists to ensure they are coordinated and aligned with sales focuses. Books and executes events: sends and receives contracts, completes banquet event orders, guides clients with menus and space options and sees through to the successful execution of an event. Schedules and dedicates prospecting time blocks to consistently generate leads and fill their sales funnel. Builds genuine client relationships by partnering with them to understand their needs and provide resolutions.
